- The Harley-Davidson XL1200X, known as the Sportster Forty- Eight, is a factory-custom, retro-styled bobber famous for its slammed, aggressive bulldog stance. It features a distinctive 2.1-gallon "peanut" fuel tank (paying homage to the 1948 original), chunky 16-inch balloon tires, a low solo seat, and forward foot controls.The XL1200X is powered by the rubber-mounted 1,202 cc air-cooled Evolution V-twin engine, which is well-regarded for its massive low-end torque and signature sound. To complement its wide-set "fat" front end, the motorcycle utilizes brawny 49 mm front forks and adjustable rear suspension. Weighing around 252 kg (551 lbs) wet, the bike combines a low seat height (typically around 710 mm) with a heavy-hitting, minimalist Dark Custom aesthetic.
